At Mission in Mexico, we are driven by a profound commitment to share the teachings and essence of the Christian faith across Mexico. Our mission, rooted in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, seeks not only to proclaim the gospel in its fullness through both word and deed but also to cultivate communities of faith that embody the Reformed tradition.
Our Purpose
Founded by a collaboration of Canadian Reformed Churches, we are dedicated to establishing self-supporting, self-governing, and self-propagating Reformed churches in Mexico. These churches are not only in ecclesiastical fellowship with us but are also engaged in fulfilling the missionary mandate themselves.
Through our work, we aim to bring individuals to repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, ensuring that the gospel's transformative power leads to the establishment of vibrant Reformed congregations that serve their communities and the world. Our mission thrives on cooperation and harmony with sister churches and organizations, emphasizing that above all, our endeavours glorify and worship the one true and living God.
We are legally incorporated in Canada as a not-for-profit organization, operating without the purpose of gain for our members and directing any profits or accretions towards promoting our mission objectives. Our governance, activities, and financial operations are transparent and aligned with our core ecclesiastical and legal commitments, ensuring we advance religion in Mexico with integrity and accountability.
Governance and Structure
Our governance model is crafted to ensure accountability, transparency, and effective management of our mission activities. We operate under a robust structure that includes the Cooperating Churches in Meeting (CCiM), the Sending Church, and the Mission Board, each playing a vital role in overseeing and implementing our mission work.
This structure allows for a collaborative approach, leveraging the strengths and resources of our community to maximize our impact in Mexico.
